While everyone knows this already, it has officially been confirmed that Spider-Man is making an entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War.

Civil War is the cover story for Entertainment Weekly this week, so among the wave of stories coming from the magazine is an update on Spider-Man’s involvement. The magazine claims to have seen Robert Downey Jr. on the set, talking to Tom Holland, the young British actor who is now playing Spidey/Peter Parker.

During an interview, the Iron Man actor confirms that Spider-Man is in the movie.

“[Don] Cheadle and I are just going, ‘Wow, dude, look at this.’ We’re now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because of our history in the [canon],’” Downey told EW. “But we’re also looking around like, ‘Who thought that Falcon and Black Panther and Ant-Man and now Spider-Man…?’ I mean it’s like wow, this thing is just crazy.”

Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo had nothing but good things to say about Holland, who they played a role in casting for the part.

“He’s also a dancer and a gymnast. He fits the part like you can’t believe,” Joe Russo said.

Holland also recently told SuperheroHype that Downey has been easy to work with and that he’s always been a big Spider-Man fan.

“He’s always been a big part of my life and a big part of boys’ lives because everybody can relate to him,” Holland said.

All this news about Civil War follows last week’s release of the trailer, which showed off Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), but no Spidey.

Civil War opens on May 6.
