While LEGO makes plenty of Millennium Falcon sets, apparently none of them were big enough for a Star Wars fan who goes by the name Marshal Banana.
Mr. Banana posted a Flickr album of the massive vehicle, which was built using 7,500 pieces. For comparison, the currently available official LEGO Falcon is only 1,329 pieces.
“My main goal was to present the model in a flying position, which was a huge task,” Mr. Banana wrote. “Due to its internal framework it was not possible to include an interior, but I was able to fully lighten the model.”
The fan said that it weighs 10 kg (22 lbs) and measures 82 cm X 54 cm X 18 cm. It also features a rectangular radar dish, so it is based on the Falcon’s appearance in The Force Awakens.
He did manage to build a cockpit that includes four seats for Minifigures. He also has lights under the cannons and back thrusters.
