If you can’t see Star Wars: The Force Awakens right away or want to avoid reading spoilers from reviews right now, there’s a Google Chrome extension for you. The Force Blocker app will keep all mentions of Star Wars away from your browser.
The Force Blocker extension will not just block spoilers, but sites that have covered news on The Force Awakens in the past can be blocked, notes Popular Science. That probably means that TheCelebrityCafe.com might be blocked if you have it! Of course, you can hit “Don’t block this page in the future” whenever the app warns you.
Other Chrome extensions are available to save your eyes from other news subjects you don’t want. Earlier this year, the KardBlock was launched so you could avoid the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars.
If you don’t use Chrome, you can use apps like Spoiler Shield and FB Purity to help block spoilers.
Hopefully by the end of January, you will have seen The Force Awakens and won’t have to worry about this problem! The movie opens everywhere Thursday night.
