Stephen Colbert’s interview with Face The Nation aired on Sunday and more of his comments on Donald Trump were noted.

As previously reported, Colbert discussed the presidential candidate and spoke with John Dickerson the CBS news program about the fact that while he didn’t agree with Trump’s policies and ideas, he had respect for him.

However, Colbert did draw a comparison between Trump and the notorious Frankenstein character. He said Trump is “this very interesting, like, Frankenstein of the idea that facts don’t matter and only money does.”

Earlier, snippets of his comments on Trump were released, including that Colbert did not believe the Republican would be in the race for long and that he really didn’t understand politics to begin with.

He also described Trump’s ideas as “more than a little shocking.” Colbert had said the reason he respected Trump was due to the percentage of likely voters that supported him.

Colbert can be see on weeknights on The Late Show. You can watch his full interview on Face The Nation below.
