Last week, there was a rumor that The Flash and Supergirl would have a crossover episode, but that doesn’t seem to be in the works yet. Producer Greg Berlanti, who oversees both Supergirl and the two CW DC Comics shows, confirmed the news late Monday.

The rumor suggested that CBS would bring Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) to Supergirl’s world during the second half of Supergirl’s first season. Early Monday, CBS officially picked up Supergirl, although only ordering seven more episodes instead of the traditional nine.

Berlanti told Comic Book Resources and other members of the press that they haven’t even discussed a crossover. “No, only because we just received the pick up. Not at this point,” Berlanti said.

Of course, this won’t stop speculation that either The Flash or Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) will meet Kara (Melissa Benoist). Berlinati’s involvement in all three projects has led many to think that a crossover will happen.

Supergirl airs on CBS on Mondays, while The Flash airs on The CW on Tuesdays. Arrow has Wednesdays. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow starts on Thursday, Jan. 21.
