If you were hoping to score some tickets for Adele’s North American tour you are out of luck since they sold out in a matter of minutes.
The Wrap noted that tickets for the singer’s first tour in five years went on sale at 10 a.m. CST and didn't last very long. All the while those who waited in line left empty handed and disappointed and websites were either delayed or crashed due to all the traffic.
The drama online was real as ticket hopefuls described their experiences on social media.
But don’t worry if you still really want tickets it’s not hopeless, you’ll just pay a hefty price for them. After they sold out, many showed up on sites like Stubhub and have been going for as much as $9,999 a piece for seats closest to the stage. Seats furthest from the stage will run you about $300. By comparison the initial price a ticket was anywhere between $40 to $750 each for premium packages.
