The parents of Eric Kohler, a 27-year-old visual effects producer who has worked on several Hollywood blockbusters, has been missing for a week. His parents are now making a plea for help from the public.

Kohler was last seen as a south Los Angeles shopping center, driving a new black Range Rover, on Nov. 24 at around 4 p.m. He has worked on San Andreas, The Avengers, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Goosebumps.

“I am a devastated dad,” Tony Kohler told ABC News this week. “I want my son back; I want him to come home. I can’t find him.”

The Los Angeles Police Department told ABC News that Kohler does not have a history of going missing for this length. Police also told KTLA that foul play isn’t suspected.

His mother, Sheryi Kohler, described him as “ambitious” and insisted that he would never “just go away.”

Police are currently trying to obtain a surveillance video from a South Los Angeles Food 4 Less market that Kohler might be seen on.

Kohler is Caucasian, 5 feet 10 inches with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information can call the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800 or 877-527-3247 during weekends.
