Amber Heard is reportedly in talks to appear in DC Comics and Warner Bros.' Aquaman and Justice League.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that she would play Mera, Aquaman’s love interest and the Queen of Atlantis. She would make her first appearance in Justice League and then have a larger role in Aquaman with Jason Momoa.
Momoa is expected to make his first appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25. His solo movie will hit theaters in 2018 and Justice League will open on Nov. 17, 2017.
James Wan, who directed Furious 7, was hired to direct Aquaman in June. David Leslie Johnson, who worked on Wan’s The Conjuring 2, is writing a script, while Kurt Johnstad (300) is writing another.
Heard was last seen in Magic Mike XXL and The Danish Girl. She finished the film London Fields with Theo James and Cara Delevingne. Her other credits include 3 Days To Kill and Machete Kills.
