A day after a Pennsylvania district attorney charged him for allegedly assaulting a woman over a decade ago, comedian Bill Cosby thanked his supporters on Twitter. Meanwhile, his wife, Camille Cosby, has been ordered to testify in a defamation case against him.

On Dec. 30, the Montgomery County DA charged Cosby with aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand in 2004. Cosby allegedly sexually assaulted Constand and drugged her. He was not charged at the time, but later settled a lawsuit filed by Constand.

Cosby was arraigned and released on $1 million bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 14.

On Thursday, Cosby simply tweeted, “Friends and fans, Thank You.”

There was other bad news for Cosby this past week. As CNN notes, a Massachusetts court denied a motion from Camille Cosby’s attorneys, requesting that she not be forced to testify in a defamation suit against Cosby.

Seven women who have accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them have sued Cosby, claiming that his public denials defamed them. The former Cosby Show star countersued, claiming that they have hurt his reputation.

Camille and Cosby have been married since 1964. She has not spoken about the allegations against her husband publicly since last year.

“The man I met and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work,” Camille Cosby said in a statement in December 2014.
