Cats, the beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, will be heading back to Broadway for its first ever revival since closing in 2000.

The show will open on July 14 at the Neil Simon Theatre.

Cats is based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats with music and book by Webber. According to the Wall Street Journal, original director Trevor Nunn will be back to direct.

However, there will be some changes. Andy Blankenbuehler, who worked on Hamilton is the new choreographer and his work will be based on the original choreography by Gillian Lynne.

Cats first debuted on Broadway in 1982 and went on to win seven Tonys. It ran for 18 years before closing in September 2000. At the time, it held the record for the longest-running Broadway show.

The show was revived in London in 3014 with a new rap song for Rum Tum Tugger. The New York version will be produced by the Shubert Organization and the Nederlander Organization.

Webber currently has two other shows on Broadway: The Phantom of the Opera and the new School of Rock.
