David Bowie’s will was filed in Manhattan on Jan. 29 and revealed that he left his $100 million fortune to his wife, supermodel Iman, and his children, film director Duncan Jones and Alexandria.
Iman will receive half of the fortune, reports Mashable. Jones, Bowie’s son from his first marriage, will receive 25 percent. Another quarter goes to Alexandria, his daughter with Iman. Bowie also set aside $2 million for Corinne Schwab, his longtime assistant, and $1 million for Marion Stene, a friend and former nanny.
The will also states that Bowie wished to have his ashes scattered in Bali in a Buddhist ritual. His death certificate shows that he was already cremated on Jan. 12, without his family or friends present as he wished.
According to the New York Post, the will was signed on Aug. 25, 2004.
Bowie died on Jan. 10 following a battle with cancer. He released his last album, Blackstar, just three days earlier, on his 69th birthday.
