Just days before David Bowie’s death at the age of 69 on Sunday, his wife of 24 years, Iman, posted some melancholy tweets.
She hinted at some issues going on in her life with two telling tweets that now have now become much more meaningful with Bowie’s passing.
“Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory,” she wrote the day before his death.
She also posted the quote, “The struggle is real, but so is God.”
While many in the music world have reacted to Bowie’s passing, Iman also posted a touching tribute to her late husband. Before news of Bowie’s death went public, she posted a series of photos of him on Instagram in honor of his 69th birthday.
