Janet Jackson will be heading back out on tour and has rearranged shows that had been previously cancelled.
Jackson had to cancel a number of tour dates in order to recover from surgery, those dates have now been rescheduled for July and August of 2016. The 29 shows that had to be cancelled will be taking place from July 1st to Aug. 28th.
These shows were originally scheduled for this winter. Jackson posted the tour news on social media back in December and told fans to be patient and that their tickets would be honored.
“It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring," she wrote. "Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your ticket. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced."
She did assure fans that the time off to recover wasn't because of cancer and denied those rumors on Twitter.
"The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love.”
