Following Janet Jackson canceling her Unbreakable world tour due to a health issue, it’s now rumored she’s being treated for possible throat cancer.
On Christmas Eve, Jackson revealed she was postponing the tour to have surgery, but she wasn’t clear about what she was being treated for.
The reason is now reportedly being revealed by RadarOnline, who claims doctors found a growth on her vocal chords and the tumor could be cancerous.
"Doctors found a growth on Janet’s vocal cords that could be serious,” a source said. “It’s a medical condition that has to be taken care of immediately.”
Her tour - comprised of three legs - was scheduled to resume on Jan. 9 after kicking off in August and in October, she had to postpone shows to rest her vocal chords.
