Jason ‘Jace’ Alexander, a veteran television director who worked on Law & Order and other shows, has pleaded guilty to charges of possession of child pornography.

Westchester County, New York District Attorney Janet DiFiore told The Associated Press that Alexander, 51, agreed to plead guilty to charges of promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene performance by a child.

Alexander will be sentenced on May 3. He could be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.

Alexander was arrested in July 2015. The DA said at the time that they caught him after discovering that he had downloaded child pornography on his computer at home.

The director’s career dates back to the early 1990s. His credits include episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess, Rescue Me, Law & Order, Royal Pains, The Blacklist, Forever and The Mysteries of Laura.
