Taron Egerton will be returning as Eggsy in Kingsman 2 next year, and the actor is now teasing a great new villain.

In an interview with Collider, Egerton said that there's a character in Kingsman 2 that rivals Samuel L. Jackson's from the original.

"This new [villain] is so brilliantly written I wish I could play it," Egerton said. "It’s amazing.”

The actor also teased a more international approach to this sequel, saying that while the first Kingsman was set entirely in the United Kingdom, this time, our characters will be traveling all over the globe.

The sequel is expected to begin filming this summer, Egerton revealed, although the studio was originally aiming for an April start date, as we previously reported. Director Matthew Vaughn is back on board to write the movie, but he has not officially signed on as director at this time. Vaughn has teased that Colin Firth's character could actually make a return, despite the fact that he was shot point blank in the face.

"A lot of people are very upset that Colin might not be in the sequel but I’m coming up with ideas at the moment," Vaughn told USA Today. "If people buy tickets in America, I’ve got a feeling we’ll figure out a way for having Colin back.”

People did indeed buy tickets in America, as the film grossed $128 million domestically, according to Box Office Mojo.

Kingsman 2 hits theaters on June 16, 2017.
