The latest episode of NCIS: Los Angeles had the team looking into the death of a man named Larry Overson, who has a venture capital fund and had been known as an Angel investor who focused on start up and tech companies. The team must focus their efforts on finding out who killed him and why.
Eventually, they are led to a friend of his named Mark Powell, who had a falling out with Larry after a lawsuit over virus software they created. When the team discovers that during their work for the NSA that the two men had created a daemon, they have to find it before it falls into the wrong hands.
This episode also showed some light hearted banter between the team, as Sam tried to figure out where Callen’s head was as he attempts to move on from an ex-girlfriend while Deeks and Nell share witty banter in the field.
