Tyra Banks is officially a mom.

Banks took to Instagram to announce the birth of her son, York Banks Asla, with photographer Erik Asla.

"The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here," Banks captioned a picture of her newborn's hat. "He's got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin."

Banks, 41, who has been vocal about her infertility struggles and desire to start a family in the past, welcomed her child via surrogate.

"As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone," Banks continued. "York Banks Asla, welcome to the world."

The former FabLife co-host opened up about IVF treatments on her short-lived talk show in September.

“Since I was 24, I used to say every year, ‘I will have kids in three years,” Banks said. “When you’re like, ‘OK, I’m just going to do it,’ then it’s not so easy as you get older.”

Banks and Asla have been dating for over two years.
