The Voice’s Jordan Smith has gotten plenty of attention even before he won the competition and now it has been announced he is engaged.

Taking to his Twitter page, Smith posted the photo that showed him with his fiancée, Kristen Denny, while they celebrated the new year on Friday.

He posted, “RINGING in the new year with my future wife! She said YES!”

They even got a congratulatory tweet from the Fonz, Henry Winkler. He posted, “long live the Smiths.”

People reported the couple have been together for three years. They documented plenty of moments together, such as surprise gifts and FaceTime dates.

Denny also posted on Instagram, thanking everyone for their support and talking about how she could not “wait to marry my best friend!”

Before winning The Voice, Smith gained notoriety when his rendition of Adele’s “Somebody to Love” pushed the singer off the number one spot on the iTunes chart. Smith posted on Twitter and thanked Adele for allowing him to “borrow” the top spot.
