Big Ang revealed on The Dr. Oz Show earlier this week that she left her husband, Neil Murphy, amid her battle with cancer, but that didn’t prevent him from being by her side when she passed away in the early morning hours of Feb. 18.

Her social media manager confirmed her death on Twitter, writing she was “surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and closest friends.”

Big Ang’s former Mob Wives co-star, Carla Facciolo, told People Murphy was “there the whole time.”

“He's part of her life. He's still her husband, you know?” she said. “I don't know if they got back together, but to Ang, when she throws somebody off her for a little bit, they're always back in. She takes in people."

Shortly after her passing, Murphy tweeted a sweet message with a heartbroken emoji along with a photo of them in happier times.

Big Ang told Dr. Oz that she left her husband of six years recently because he “never stepped up.” She added, “Now, it’s too late. I would rather be by myself. I would rather be alone.”
