Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky was ambushed in a hotel elevator in New Zealand on Feb. 24.
According to TMZ, Rocky was staying at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland. He returned around 3 a.m. with three women and stepped into the elevator. Three men attempted to enter the elevator when Rocky told them that they weren't allowed in because there was no room.
The three men then entered the elevator anyway and reportedly attacked the rapper. One of them allegedly punched Rocky in the head and face while he attempted to protect the women.
Sources said that one of the men knew who Rocky was because he yelled "F**k A$AP" as they were fighting. Hotel security came and broke up the fight and when law enforcement arrived they arrested a 35-year-old local resident.
XXLMag noted that none of the rappers belongings were taken during the brawl.
The little scuffle didn't phase Rocky as he is still scheduled to perform on Thursday evening and took to Twitter after the incident.
