Adele might not have been up for Grammys this year, but she was the top winner at last night’s BRIT Awards at the O2 Arena, where the best in British music was honored. The “Hello” singer took home four awards.

Adele won for British Single (“Hello”); British Female Solo Artist; Mastercard British Album of the year (25); and Global Success. The Female Solo Artist award was the first of the night, so when Adele accepted it, she voiced support for Kesha.

There were no other multiple award winners during the show. James Bay was named British Male Solo Artist, while Coldplay won British Group. Catfish and the Bottlemen won British Breakthrough Act.

Charlie Andrew beat Mark Ronson for British Producer of the Year. One Direction won British Artist Video for “Drag Me Down,” beating Adele for the award.

Justin Bieber and Bjork were named International Solo Artists and Tame Impala won International Group. Lastly, Jack Garratt won the Critics’ Choice Award.

The ceremony featured several highlights, including an emotional tribute to David Bowie. Lorde was enlisted to perform “Life on Mars.”
