After getting a tons of backlash for saying she doesn’t believe that Sports Illustrated model Ashely Graham is “healthy,” model Cheryl Tiegs clarified what she meant via social media on Friday.

As we previously reported, Tiegs, who posed for the mag’s swimsuit issue several times herself, slammed SI and the model for “glamorizing” a “full-figured” woman. Graham is a size 16.

“I don’t like that we’re talking about full-figured women because it’s glamorizing them because your waist should be smaller than 35 [inches],” Tiegs said, adding, “That’s what Dr. Oz said, and I’m sticking to it. No, I don’t think it’s healthy. Her face is beautiful. Beautiful. But I don’t think it’s healthy in the long run.”

Tiegs was flooded with comments on social media for her remarks, so she took to Twitter to try and defend and explain herself better.

“To clarify re bodyweight. Being anorexic/bulimic/overweight all connected to health problems.  I want all to be as healthy as they can.”

Her clarification still isn’t sitting well with some as they insist Tiegs body shamed Graham, who has not yet responded to the comments.
