Atlas, an adorable and cute rabbit, is looking for a home in Scotland. He’s not your usual bunny, though, since he’s about the size of a dog.
The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals posted a picture of Atlas on Facebook on Feb. 8, hoping to find a home for the big bunny. He is a seven-month-old continental rabbit and is “very friendly” and loves “getting cuddles,” according to the SPCA.
However, large rabbits like Atlas are not for everyone. The SPCA says that they need to find an owner who is prepared for taking care of him, preferably a person who has taken care of a continental giant rabbit before. They also stressed that they will only give him to someone in Scotland because rabbits are “very susceptible to stress.”
According to The Huffington Post, adult continental giant rabbits can weigh up to 13 pounds. However, the Guinness World record holder for largest rabbit is Darius, who weighs 49 pounds and is four-feet-four-inches long.
*PLEASE NOTE: While it's fantastic that so many people want to offer Atlas a loving home, we will find him one here in...
