The Merc with a Mouth won’t stop talking and audiences don’t seem to mind. For the second consecutive week, 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool crushed expectations, leaving Risen and The Witch far behind.

Deadpool grossed another $55 million, according to early estimates from Rentrak. It is now up to $235.3 million domestically after just 10 days. The film debuted last week to an astonishing $260 million worldwide.

After this weekend, its worldwide total is at $491.7 million. That’s incredible, considering that the movie cost just $58 million and was directed by first-timer Tim Miller. Ryan Reynolds stars in the title role.

DreamWorks animation’s Kung Fu Panda 3 (also released by Fox) took advantage of another weekend without family film competition. It took in $12.5 million, bringing its domestic total to $117.1 million. It has made $294.1 million worldwide.

Sony’s faith-based swords-and-sandals movie Risen debuted to $11.8 million. A24’s horror movie The Witch started with a good $8.6 million. How To Be Single rounded out the Top 5 with $8.2 million.

The Jesse Owens biopic Race from Focus Features only debuted to $7.2 million.
