Dwayne Johnson shares first photos from ‘Baywatch’ movie set with Zac Efron

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson clearly loves Instagram and shared a couple of photos from the set of the upcoming film version of Baywatch.

On Feb. 23, Johnson shared a photo with him and Zac Efron in costume. Johnson is playing Mitch Buchannon (played by David Hasselhoff in the original TV series) and Efron is Matt Brody (David Charvet’s role).

“Zac's ad-libbed responses were brilliant! Talented and great dude,” Johnson said. “World get ready to have some fun, 'cause the beach will never be the same again.”

In the second photo, Johnson posted with Ilfenesh Hadera, who stars as Stephanie Holden (originally played by Alexandra Paul).

Baywatch will also star Johnson’s San Andreas co-star Alexandra Daddario and model Kelly Rohrbach. The film is being directed by Horrible Bosses’ Seth Gordon and is scheduled for May 19, 2017.
