Following the death of former Bachelor contestant, Lex McAllister, the Bachelor of the season she appeared on, Jake Pavelka, is speaking out.
McAllister died of an apparent suicide on Tuesday, Feb. 16. She was eliminated in the first episode of Season 14 in 2010.
He tweeted shortly after the tragic news broke that his “heart breaks” for McAllister’s family.
McAllister, 31, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, Feb. 13 after a friend found her in her Columbus, Ohio home after overdosing on prescription pills. She was in stable condition at the time, but her condition worsened and her family took her off of life support on Tuesday.
