Director James Gunn and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy team is getting back together this month to start rehearsals for the sequel. Members of the crew posted photos on social media to give fans an update on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Last week, Gunn posted a photo of himself directing actors Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn just starting rehearsals.
In another photo posted earlier this week, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista joined the crew.
Pratt posted a picture of the Awesome Mix Vol. 2 tape in a Sony Walkman. He was so ecstatic about playing Star Lord again that he wrote a long caption for the photo and needed a thesaurus to find more words to describe how excited he is.
Saldana, who plays Gamora, also posted a photo on Twitter.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is currently scheduled for May 5, 2017. Kurt Russell is rumored to be playing the father of Chris Pratt’s character.
