Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has officially been named the winner of Feb. 1’s Iowa caucuses, the first in the nation.

The Democratic Party called Clinton’s victory over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders the closest in the history of the Iowa caucuses, reports The Associated Press. The Iowa Democratic Party also said that there will be no recount.

With the slim victory, Clinton picked up 26 delegates, according to CNN’s stats. However, Sanders earned 21 delegates.

This was a big win for Clinton, who famously lost the 2008 caucuses to then-Sen. Barack Obama. Obama went on to win the presidency and picked Clinton as his first Secretary of State. Clinton also served as New York Senator. She is married to former President Bill Clinton.

At first, it looked like Clinton would easily win Iowa, but Sanders mounted a tougher challenge than anticipated. Next, the two will square off in New Hampshire on Feb. 9.

On the Republican side, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz beat Donald Trump, 28 to 24 percent.
