Jessica Chastain will star in Woman Walking Ahead, a movie about a woman who helped the legendary Sioux chieftain Sitting Bull.

Woman Walking Ahead will be directed by Susanna White (Nanny McPhee Returns) and written by Steven Knight (Locke, Peaky Blinders), reports The Hollywood Reporter. Producers are Ed Zwick, Marshall Herskovitz, Rick Solomon and Erika Olde.

Chastain will play Caroline Weldon, a Brooklyn artist who moved to the Standing Rock Reservation in the Dakota Territory during the 1800s. She wrote letters to the federal government for Sitting Bull, who famously defeated Lt. Col. George Custer at the Battle of Little Bighorn.

In 2015, Chastain starred in both The Martian and Crimson Peak. She will next be seen in The Huntsman Winter’s War on April 22. She’s also working on The Zookeeper’s Wife and Miss Sloane for 2016.

Chastain has Oscar nominations for her supporting role in The Help and her lead role in Zero Dark Thirty. She also starred in the horror film Mama, but won’t be in Mama 2.
