Kanye West claims he’s received help from heaven when it comes to his new album, saying in a new radio interview on Feb. 4 his wife’s late father, Robert Kardashian, helped him complete it. He also said God did most of the work.

During the interview with Real 92.3, West also brought up Robert Kardashian’s involvement with O.J. Simpson’s murder case.

"Robert Kardashian is making sure that all the deals is getting done. He's still doing deals for controversial black people from up in heaven," West said.

West, who has described his seventh album as a gospel album, continued to say, “Every other waking moment working on this album and I'm still only doing 1 percent, 2 percent of the work. And, God is doing the rest. It's a dream that cannot happen without God.”

There’s been a lot of confusion over the name of his newest album, which comes out Feb. 11. He announced he was changing it from Swish to Waves last week, but then backtracked on that this week. It was originally called So Help Me God.
