The all-star cast for Collateral Beauty continues to grow, as Kate Winslet is the latest to be linked to the Will Smith project.
Both TheWrap and The Hollywood Reporter are reporting that the Oscar winner is in talks to join the film. This news comes just hours after it was reported that Keira Knightley was also in talks for a role.
Smith stars in the film as a New York ad executive whose co-workers try to help him deal with a personal tragedy. Their attempts don’t go as planned and he is visited by the manifestation of Love, Death and Time.
The cast also includes Helen Mirren, Michael Pena, Naomie Harris and Ed Norton. It was written by Allan Loeb (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps) and will be directed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada). It is currently slated for release on Dec. 16 and filming starts later this month.
Winslet won an Oscar back in 2009 for The Reader and just earned another nomination for Steve Jobs. She will next be seen in Triple 9, which hits theaters on Feb. 26. She also stars in The Dressmaker, which will be released in the U.S. sometime this year.
