Keira Knightley has joined Collateral Beauty, a drama that already stars Will Smith.
Knightley is in talks to join the all-star cast, reports The Hollywood Reporter. As members of the supporting cast play human versions of Love, Death and Time, Knightley is expected to play Love.
Written by Allan Loeb (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, 21), the film finds Smith starring as a New York advertising executive who suffers a personal tragedy. His co-workers come up with a plan to help him, but it doesn’t work in the way they hoped.
The cast already includes Helen Mirren, Edward Norton, Michael Pena and Naomie Harris. It is being directed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me) and is currently scheduled for release on Dec. 16.
Knightley recently earned a second Oscar nomination for The Imitation Game and starred in Everest last year. She is reportedly in talks to star in Colette, a biopic on the French author.
