Kesha appeared in court Friday, Feb. 19 regarding a lawsuit she filed against her producer, Dr. Luke, who she claims sexually abused her for years. Fans of the singer have taken to Twitter to show their support for the "Tik Tok" singer.

The legal drama between the two has been going on for nearly two years, when Kesha first alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Dr. Luke, saying that he drugged and raped her.

Many of the pop singer's fans gathered outside the courthouse to protest Sony Music Entertainment, who refused to release Kesha from her contract with the producer despite the allegations, according to CBS New York. Kesha's current contract would require her to record eight more albums with Luke.

The singer posted on her Instagram about this case on Thursday.

"I have nothing left to hide. I did this because the truth was eating away my soul and killing me from the inside," she wrote. "this is not just for me. this is for every woman, every human who has ever been abused. sexually. emotionally. mentally. I had to tell the truth. so the outcome will be what it will be. there's nothing left I can do. it's just so scary to have zero control in your fate. but this is my path this life for whatever reason....#Friday."

The post has since been taken down.

Her fans, however, haven't kept quiet on Twitter, using the hashtags "SonySupportsRape" and "FreeKesha."
