Abbey Lee, who played one of the wives in Mad Max: Fury Road, is now in talks for a key role in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower.

Lee will star as Triana, a role that is being considered the lead female part, notes Deadline. Readers of the book questioned Deadline though, since Triana is the name of a minor character. However, the site updated the report, adding that Triana is just what the major character is being called. Even though she doesn’t appear until the seventh book in King’s series, she will appear in the first movie.

The film is also set to star Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black, the villain. Idris Elba will play Roland Deschain.

The Dark Tower will be directed by Nikolaj Arcel and is being produced by Sony and Media Rights Capital. The studios are also planning a TV series that will run concurrently with the movies. The first movie will be mostly adapted from The Gunslinger novel.

Lee starred as one of the wives Furiosa rescued in Mad Max: Fury Road. The Australian actress next appears in Gods of Egypt and Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon.
