Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may officially be married. The couple said "I do" during a small, intimate ceremony on the beaches of Australia where Liam is from.

According to Hollywood Life, the two had a "secret sunset wedding ceremony over the winter holidays." Cyrus has been spotted recently wearing her ring again, which fans speculated was for their re-engagement, however, close friends of the couple said that the two had already been married at that point.

Nothing Cyrus, 23, does comes as much of a surprise these days except for this. Once news broke that she and the 26-year-old Hemsworth's, engagement was back on and the two moved in together and fans began to wonder if they would actually wed.

This spur of the moment may seem a little odd and more Cyrus' idea than his, but it was actually Hemsworth who wanted to avoid another long engagement and go straight to marriage.

“Liam choked up as he began describing his love for Miley,” the source said. “Then Miley started crying, too. It was very emotional.”

The source added that after they exchanged vows, “Liam asked everyone in his family to a candle,” and they “lit each one, saying it represented the eternal flame of their love.” The couple reportedly then slipped on “wedding bands that had been fashioned from palm fronds."

Cyrus' parents reportedly were not in attendance for the ceremony.
