Nicki Minaj is addressing her feud with Miley Cyrus in Yo Gotti's "Down in the DM” remix, following their confrontation at last year’s MTV’s Video Music Awards.
Minaj called out Cyrus for her comments that she was “not too kind” to Taylor Swift about their pre-VMAs Twitter feud during the show and she later said in an interview that the "Wrecking Ball" singer has "big balls" to make those sort of comments.
"The fact that you feel upset about me speaking on something that affects black women makes me feel like you have some big balls," Minaj said at the time. "If you want to enjoy our culture and our lifestyle, bond with us, dance with us, have fun with us, twerk with us, rap with us, then you should also want to know what affects us, what is bothering us, what we feel is unfair to us. You shouldn't not want to know that."
While accepting her award for Best Hip-Hop Video last year, Minaj directed her attention towards Cyrus, saying, “And now, back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press: Miley, what's good?" Rolling Stone reports.
Minaj echoed the same line in her rap verse, saying, “He said 'Kylie, what's good?'/I said Miley, what's good?/I said could you pay my bills like O'Reilly, what's good?"
