Taryn Manning is suing the city of New York for millions over what she calls a “false arrest.”

Wonderwall reported that Manning, who just took care of one legal matter on Feb. 9, filed suit a day earlier for another case in which she is seeking $10 million in damages after alleging that she was falsely arrested.

The 37-year-old claims the arrest occurred after a meeting she had with investigators into accusations of threatening her former roommate Janine Heller.

“The meeting ended when I was handcuffed by a detective and locked in a small room adjacent to the interview room,” Manning said in an affidavit. “Approximately 20 minutes later, I was removed … still handcuffed and marched through the precinct. I was processed and ultimately placed in a holding cell.”

The Orange is the New Black star then alleges that her arrest was voided and sealed, until members of the NYPD spoke to the media about it.

“My damages include attorney’s fees, hours of detention, emotional distress and reputational harm,” she said.
