There has been a ton of speculation recently on whether the daughter of Phil Collins is dating Nick Jonas and now the famous musician is setting the record straight.
US Weekly reported that Nick and Lily Collins were spotted together during a romantic getaway at the California ski resort Mammoth Mountain. Despite reports of a romantic connection, however, Lily’s dad said she told him that they are still “just friends.”
“[I’m] not sure what Nick looks like,” Phil said with a laugh to The Insider With Yahoo. “But Lily called me the other day and she was in Mammoth where all this was happening. I’m here with a friend she told me and said it’s not serious. It’s just friends.”
The two have been pals for years and even though some sources believe their friendship could develop into something more, right now the 26-year-old Lily and 23-year-old Jonas may just want to have a good time.
“Nick really likes Lily,” one source told the mag. “Nick’s single and having fun. Right now it’s not exclusive.”
