The Philadelphia Police Department got in on poking fun at Kanye West after he admitted that he is $53 million in debt and offered him a job starting $47,920 a year.
On Thursday, the PPD put out a hilarious job offer for the hip-hop artist via social media to help pay off that debt. The department informed West that it is hiring and that it would take a mere 1,106 years to pay off his debt.
Immediately after the tweet went out, social media lit up with followers loving the humor and the idea of West joining Philly’s finest.
As we previously reported, the rapper took to Twitter over the weekend to announce that he is in debt and asked Mark Zuckerberg for a cool $1 billion to invest in his ideas. Since the Facebook founder didn’t respond to Kanye, Pizza Hut jumped in and offered to hire him the next day.
So far West hasn’t responded to the Pizza Hut or PPD job offers.
