Jay Z’s Roc Nation is countersuing Rita Ora for $2.3 million following her December lawsuit against them, but it’s rumored they will settle out of court.

As we've previously reported, Ora sued Roc Nation on claims that they essentially abandoned her to focus on other endeavors, such as Jay Z’s streaming service Tidal and its sports management branch.

In their countersuit, Roc Nation claims Ora signed with them in 2008 as an unknown artist with the promise to put out five albums, but has only released one.

The $2.3 million they’re countersuing for is the amount of money they say they have already spent marketing her second album, which they want back. Ora claims she has delivered on new music, but the label hasn’t released it yet.

Ora’s attorney, Howard King, told Billboard that Roc Nation was required to file a countersuit, but Jay Z and Ora have already personally worked out their differences, with Jay Z agreeing to release her from her contract.

"We're in the process of finalizing those details," King said. "[Jay Z] could not have been more gracious."
