Snickers might have the most challenging task among Super Bowl advertisers this year, since they have to follow up last year’s hilarious Brady Bunch spot. Today, they unveiled the spot they will air during Super Bowl 50.
The spot is the latest “You’re not you when you’re hungry” commerical and features Willem DaFoe recreating Marilyn Monroe’s famous subway grate scene from The Seven-Year Itch. When the director gives him a Snickers bar, he turns into Monroe. At the end, Eugene Levy is revealed to be the man behind the fan under the grate.
Last year, Snickers’ spot featured Danny Trejo as Marcia from The Brady Bunch and Steve Buscemi.
Other Super Bowl commercials feature Steven Tyler for Skittles, Helen Mirren for Budweiser and Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen for Bud Light.
Super Bowl 50 is on Sunday, Feb. 7.
