Kesha is receiving some extra help from Taylor Swift after a judge’s decision against the “Tik Tok” singer last week, forcing her to remain with the producer she has accused of rape.

A rep for Swift told the Associated Press that the “Style” singer donated $250,000 to help Kesha in her legal fight against producer Dr. Luke.

Back on Feb. 19, Kesha was in a New York courtroom in tears as New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich denied her request for a preliminary injunction that would allow her to make music without Dr. Luke and outside of her Sony contract. She argued that Sony would not promote her music if it was not produced by Dr. Luke.

Kesha claims that Dr. Luke drugged and raped her in 2006 when she was 18. Dr. Luke has denied the claim and he has never faced criminal charges.

The singer has not recorded a new album since 2012. She received an outpouring of support from fans on Twitter and her colleagues in the music business. Even Lady Gaga voiced her support for Kesha.
