Teresa Giudice’s house arrest ends on Friday, Feb. 5, her lawyer has confirmed. She can now put her jail sentence behind her and will start her 2-year supervised release.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was released from Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut on Dec. 23 after serving 11 months behind bars.
"Effective this morning, Teresa is no longer subject to the parameters of home confinement. She is now free in all aspects from the custodial portion of her sentence," her attorney told People. "The restitution has been paid in full and what remains is a two-year period of supervised release, the terms of which we will remain in full compliance with."
The terms of her house arrest allowed her to leave her home with permission from her parole officer. She attended the opening of her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga's boutique in New Jersey and she was often seen out grocery shopping near her home.
"Teresa is very much looking forward to closing this dark chapter in her life and moving forward both personally and professionally," her lawyer continued.
