Tori Spelling has said that her husband Dean McDermott’s very public cheating scandal back in 2013 actually changed things in their lives for the better.
Spelling appeared on Kocktails With Khloe Feb. 10 and revealed that she believes after all the heartbreak, things changed for the better.
"It changed everything. It really did... for the better,” she said. "Because we had to start over. The relationship was just broken into a million pieces."
Spelling, who has four children with McDermott, added that she faced some criticism as well as support for her decision not to leave him.
"There's people who are like, 'Wow that's so great you stuck by him and worked through it,' and there's other people who are like, 'He's a cheater and I can't believe you wouldn't leave him,'" the 42-year-old said.
This isn’t the first time Spelling has come out and claimed that her marriage is "stronger" after learning of McDermott’s infidelity.
In 2014, one year after the scandal broke, Spelling said in an interview that their relationship was “stronger than it’s been” possibly since they were married." And, just last year, McDermott proclaimed that their marriage had become "absolutely amazing."
