Vanessa Hudgens gave a very memorable performance on Grease: Live Sunday evening and viewers absolutely loved it, so the actress took to Instagram to thank everyone for their support.
As we previously reported, Hudgens’ performance was very emotional as her father, Greg, passed away from Stage 4 cancer on Jan. 30; just two days before the live show aired. Hudgens announced the sad news on Twitter, but said that she was still going to do the musical in “his honor.”
Her performance received rave reviews and the 27-year-old took to social media again this week to thank everyone for watching and supporting the show.
“I can't believe @gogrease is OVER!” she wrote. “Grand opening and grand closing. Thank you to everyone who watched and supported me last night. Doing #greaselive was one of the most incredible experiences and I'm so glad you guys liked it as much as I did.”
The Daily Mail noted that on Tuesday both Hudgens and her sister, Stella, were seen leaving Forest Lawn Mortuary in Burbank, California as they made burial arrangements for their father.
