One Direction Member Zayn Malik gives us something to talk about with his song "Pillow Talk" topping the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "Pillow Talk" is part of the star's first solo album titled, Mind of Mine, which will be released this March on the anniversary of his breakup with One Direction.
The single has also been on the top of Spotify's global chart since it's Jan. 29th release date and it has been noted by far the fastest selling single of 2016, as reported by OfficialCharts.
The good news has got Malik thanking the ones who truly matter, his fans: “Thank you to all my fans and supporters,we have achieved this together and I am grateful," said Malik in a statement.
As some may know, the music video stars model, Gigi Hadid, who the singer is currently dating. In the video Malik and Hadid are shown in a couple intimate scenes, which gives us proof that the two are pretty serious.
Billboard says, the video has already gained 42 million viewers worldwide since its premiere on YouTube. So far Malik is at a great start to his solo career, let's watch for what he'll do next!
