Steven Tyler's new girlfriend is 39 years his junior, a decade younger than his daughter Liv Tyler

Steven Tyler’s rumored new girlfriend, Aimee Ann Preston, is 39 years younger than him. Preston has been his personal assistant since 2014.

Tyler, 67, and Preston, 28, reportedly took their relationship public late last month at Elton John's Oscars viewing party in Los Angeles.

According to Daily News, they were seen holding hands while walking the red carpet together, confirming their relationship. Wonderwall reports Preston was previously married to a Hollywood agent.

It’s no new theme that the Aerosmith frontman would date a younger woman; his ex-fiance Erin Brady was 25 years younger than him. Two of Tyler’s four children are older than Preston; Liv, 38 and Mia, 37. He also has Chelsea, 27, and Taj, 25.

Meanwhile, the rock star and former American Idol judge announced in April 2015 he was working on a country music album.
