All that time ringing “Hells Bells” might have caught up with AC/DC singer Brian Johnson. The group has been forced to postpone a 10-date U.S. tour because Jones’ doctors fear that he could lose his hearing.
The tour was supposed to start tonight at Philips Arena in Atlanta and continued through April 4 with a stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, the group won’t be able to hit the road until later this year and will likely have to do it with a guest vocalist, the group said.
“AC/DC’s lead singer, Brian Johnson, has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss,” the group’s statement reads.
Fans can get a refund from where they purchased the tickets or hold on for the rescheduled dates.
AC/DC has been touring in support for their 2014 album Rock Or Bust.
