A new trailer for The Legend of Tarzan hit the web this week, showing just how effects-heavy and majestic the film will be. Directed by David Yates, the film stars Alexander Skarsgard as the King of the Jungle.
The new trailer is much heavier on action than the December one, showing wild animals of Africa clashing with the Europeans who have landed there. We also see Christoph Waltz as a scenery-chewing villain who hopes to draw Tarzan out of the jungle by kidnapping Jane (Margot Robbie).
In the first trailer, the focus was on the story. The film starts with Tarzan already used to Victorian England as Lord Greystoke when he is asked to return to the Congo. He doesn’t want to go, but reluctantly agrees and only finds danger waiting.

The Legend of Tarzan hits theaters on July 1 from Warner Bros.
